application code based on requirement. Create interfaces with other systems. 
Collaborate development activity with other team members. Create technical 
specification and other documents as required.</p>
<p><strong>Specific Tasks and deliverables:</strong><br></p>
<ul>
<li>Create specification, design and integrate interfaces with internal and 
external systems.</li>
<li> Design, develop and write application code, include change as 
requested.</li>
<li> Research, analyze, write and modify application code based on release 
requests including enhancements.</li>
<li> Provide emergency release and production support.</li>
<li> Collaborate development and integration activities with other team members 
and other groups. </li>
<li> Understand requirement to write efficient application code. Review 
application server issues and provide resolution.</li>
</ul>
<p><br><strong>Required Experience and Skills:</strong><br></p>
<ul>
<li> JAVA consultants 8+ years of experience with complex, large scale 
application development and support using Java and Oracle based 
technologies.</li>
<li> 5+ years working experience with JAVA/JEE, JAVA design patterns, its 
related technologies for web based development.</li>
<li> 5+ years experience and integration using Struts, Spring, Hibernate, JPA 
and Web Services is required.</li>
<li> 5+ years working experience with SQL, PL/SQL with Oracle backend is 
required.</li>
<li> 2+ years experience creating technical design like class diagram and 
sequence diagram is strongly preferred.</li>
<li> Knowledge and experience with Weblogic, JDeveloper, Oracle ADF, UNIX Shell 
Scripting and UML are strongly preferred.</li>
<li> Candidate should be able to translate functional requirement and ER 
diagram/data model into technical design and application code.</li>
<li> Knowledge and experience of creating common framework and classes are 
strongly preferred.</li>
<li> Candidate should be an excellent team player and independently able to 
research and provide resolution for production support. Must work as a team 
player and an excellent communication skill is required.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Required Technical Skills: </strong><br></p>
<ul>
<li> 5+ years - JEE based Application development, Java, JSP, AJAX, JavaScript, 
JAVA design patterns, HTML, Servlet, JDeveloper, Weblogic Application Server, 
application support and monitoring.</li>
<li> 5+ years – Real time development and integration with Struts, Hibernate, 
Spring, JPA, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX and JSP technologies is required.</li>
<li> 5+ years - Oracle 10g or higher, SQL writing and tuning, PL/SQL 
programming.</li>
<li> 4+ years – Translate functional requirement and ER diagram/data model into 
application code.</li>
<li> 2+ years – Writing technical design specification using UML sequence 
diagram and class diagram.</li>
