Please find the below our *direct client requirement* and please send me your consultants resume to *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *Title: Sr. Linux EngineerLocation: Atlanta, GA (30339)Duration: 8+ Months ContractNeed Only Locals* • Minimum 8 years of hands-on System Administrator experience in RHEL O/S installation from an ISO, configuration, supporting, troubleshooting and performance tuning RedHat Linux 5.x – 7.x in both Physical and Virtual environments. . • Minimum 6 – 8 years’ experience in cloning, vmotion, and storage vmotion of virtual machines; configuring of DRS rules, network adaptors, vmdk’s, vcpu and memory allocations in a VMWare environment. • Must possess strong skills in troubleshooting, kernel and performance tuning, GRUB, O/S installations, capacity planning/management, high availability, managing applications, working with the application developers to diagnose problems, and disaster recovery planning and testing. • Hands on configuration, installation and/or support experience on the following key products: Veritas Cluster Server, VMWare, and Oracle RAC. • Experience with Microsoft Clustering and ISCSI a plus. • Must be experienced with SAN and NAS storage from the server side and be familiar with multi-pathing in the linux O/A storage management and network configuration (from server side). • Moderate to strong scripting skills in Perl with the ability to write scripts for automation, cron jobs, and init start/stop scripts (Power CLI a plus). • Must have basic knowledge of PCI and security management, patching, and Satellite server registration and channels. • Experience with operating / server support and configuration for Oracle, Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, MQ Series, and JBoss. • Must have experience with DNS, NTP, IPtables, FTP, SSH, network Bonding, NFS, SMTP, and HTTP. • Experience with monitoring technologies such as EMC Smarts, Sitescope, and experience with Service Now. • Must possess good analytical and problem solving capabilities with excellent communication (both written and verbal); and documentation skills. *Thanks,[email protected] <[email protected]>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
