*JOB DESCRIPTION:* Role: .NET Developer + EDI + X12 Work Location: Boise, ID Duration: 9-12 months *Candidates will NOT be considered without both EDI and x12 experience.* *Need EAD, GC, TN or Citizen!!* MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years of software programming and analysis, primarily .NET 3+ years of programming EDI transactions Experience with X12 Healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transaction sets Summary of Role: Candidates are going to need experience with the X12 Healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transaction sets and the only way they would have that is if they had been in the healthcare industry. This position is responsible for participating in the project to replace a legacy EDI middleware application (SeeBeyond) with a custom C# application for the receipt and processing of EDI transactions. With limited supervision, be responsible for analysis, design, programming, implementation, documentation and administration of the above described software with an emphasis on use of service oriented architecture (SOA). This position is also responsible for refactoring, reengineering and/or maintenance of existing processes and systems.
