Title: OBIEE Functional/Technical Consultant

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: 2-3 year project

OBIEE Functional/Technical Consultant

The Program is divided into three tracks:
1. Re-implementation of Oracle General Ledger, Payables, Projects,
Assets, Purchasing (minimal footprint) on Release 12 on one instance.
Currently running Oracle Release 11.5.10 for Payables, Purchasing,
Projects and Assets with minimal General Ledger footprint.  Assets are
in a separate instance from Payables and Projects.  General Ledger is
on PeopleSoft 8.9.
2. Chart of Account Redesign (Re-implementation of Oracle General
Ledger on a new Chart of Accounts)
3. IFRS Compliance

1. 7+ years of Oracle OBIEE experience (including Siebel Analytics)
     a. At least 1 year on R12
     b. OBIEE Answers
     c. OBIEE Financial Analytics
     d. Oracle BI Publisher
     e. Oracle BI Enterprise Edition Plus
2. Provide leadership in key interactions with Controllers to elicit,
define, analyze, and manage internal and external reporting
requirements.
3. Perform requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that
requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise,
comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable, and
that they conform to standards.
4. Lead liaison between Controllers and Track Leads in designing and
developing reporting requirements
5. Strategy for migrating from current reporting tools like
Discoverer, Noetix, Crystal to OBIEE reporting
6. Critical evaluation of Business Requirements and Design; reconcile
conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and summarize
low-level information to a more general understanding.
7. Design functional requirements to apply new segment accounting
structure and values to reporting systems
8. Develop time estimates for project Track schedules, monitor
progress and provide accurate and timely reports.
9. Manage resolution of problems and escalate as required.
10. Work across project tracks to synchronize reporting deliverables.
11. Define quality attributes, external interfaces, constraints, and
other nonfunctional reporting requirements.
12. Manage changes to baseline requirements through effective
application of change
13. Drive testing plan and validate acceptance testing design
