In this role you will help to develop and test a new system being created to provide a business services team with new technical functionality. * * *Duties: * · Requirements management · Design and development · Test and document · Self-manage time and task priorities to meet project timelines, and identify potential project risks · Handle multiple work related tasks · Take ownership and follow through with tasks until completion · Deliver Powercenter expertise to the team · Document all ETL related work per company's methodology · Maintain existing code and fix bugs whenever needed · Ensure that all timelines of loading/validating data are met · Develop mappings / sessions / workflows · Determine the structure of data; experience in data analysis *The successful candidate will have: * · 5+ years experience (Powercenter) · 7+ years of total IT experience · Dimensional Modeling experience/knowledge a must · Strong Oracle database skills · Excellent critical thinking and communication skills · Velocity standards experience is a real plus · Experience interpreting and understanding normalized data models · Writing and optimizing SQL code and stored procedures · Strong scripting skills (shell; perl) · Strong conceptual, communications, and technical skills *NOTE:* We have multiple opportunities with the same skill set, would appreciate if you could refer any of your friends/associates/colleagues.
