Our client, located in is seeking a Project Manager for an immediate
contract position. Details include:

Project Manager – Transfer Agency New Business Initiatives

As a Project Manager in our client's New Business Team, you will be joining
a world-class team. As an experienced and seasoned project management
professional, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple systems
projects of a complex nature. You will coordinate all phases (from analysis
through implementation) of multiple projects while successfully partnering
with business unit service partners and other senior members of our dynamic
technology team. You will lead new business related initiatives in the
Transfer Agency space. You will facilitate meetings with external clients
and internal business partners to determine scope of the project effort
while managing the inventory of open issues and detail project plan. You
will be responsible for managing multiple project teams in a matrix
reporting environment while ensuring projects are kept on track and issues
are properly escalated to management before they reach a critical point. The
candidate will lead a team of business analysts and technicians while
working with business partners to prepare the organization for bringing on
the new client.

In this critical role, you will be engaged in projects that cross business
units and/or have significant monetary impacts; therefore supporting
strategic objectives for the corporation. This role will utilize your
well-honed experience in defining project scope and objectives, coordinating
and/or developing detailed work plans, scheduling, estimating projects,
developing resource plans and creating status reports. Additionally, you
will be responsible for assembling project teams, assigning individual
responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources as needed, and
developing schedules to ensure timely completion of projects under tight
deadlines. Excellent communication and collaboration skills will be utilized
to maintain direct contact with business, technical personnel, service
partners, and/or other designated areas. Project management of concurrent
projects may be required and you will continuously be accountable for
ensuring adherence to quality standards and reviews of project deliverables
this role reports to the VP, of The New Business Team.

*Essential Qualifications*

·         The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of mutual fund
related experience in *Subaccounting*, *transfer agency, full service or
brokerage operations*.

·         Proven expertise in planning and managing critical, high profile
Subaccounting, transfer agency, full service or brokerage operations
initiatives.

·         Must be proficient in *mutual fund functionality such as load
schedule processing, dividends, and 12b-1s*.

·         Knowledge of *VSAM file structures, Lotus Notes, IBM Mainframe and
MS Office applications* is required.

·         Must have extensive experience developing detailed project plans
and high level milestone plans with project teams that consist of large,
complex projects/programs from conception to post deployment

·         Experience leading team(s) to achieve extraordinary results;
exceeding project goals (scope, time, and budget) through focus and
motivation.

·         Strong ability to negotiate (internal and external) to achieve
project goals

·         Experience using a defined change control process including
managing changes through the process and appropriate communication of the
results.

·         Knowledge of how to use *SME’s effectively* to help resolve issues
and anticipate areas of potential risk

·         Strong ability to gather information from team members for *planning,
issue resolution, risk management*, etc

·         Proven ability to learn new things quickly (organization,
products, services, technologies and process)

·         Well-honed ability to establish processes and identify
deliverables where none may exist

·         Solid relationship building skills that can drive
executives/leaders to make concrete decisions and plans when the scope,
issues or approach to a project is ambiguous

·         Attention to detail that can drive current tasks according to the
plan with the ability to anticipate and keep focus on the longer term
view/perspective

·         Team building skills that develops strong, trusting relationships
with team members and clients at all levels of the organization.

·         Ability to collaborates on all aspects of the project while still
maintaining a leadership role

·         Experience that demonstrates ability to adjust processes or
methods to meet the needs of a project without compromising quality

·         Proven experience that demonstrates ability to adjust processes or

·         Proven ability and willingness to transfer and share knowledge

·         Superior communication skills with ability to deliver concise,
transparent and sometimes difficult messages to Sr. Executives (Internal or
Client) that include major issues, delays, cost overruns, etc. Additionally,
ability to ensure leadership and cross functional teams are all on the same
page by frequent communication using the appropriate context for the
audience

·         Experience in creating and managing issue logs with an in-depth
understanding of impact of issues on project and organization.

·         Proven ability to identify risks with the project team and develop
successful mitigation strategies

·         Must be proficient in *MS Word*; advanced *MS Excel skills* are
required.

·         Position requires excellent oral and written skills as individual
will need to communicate with and provide presentations to clients and fund
companies.

·         Position requires attention to detail and excellent organizational
skills.

·         Posses strong perseverance skills

·         Previous Experience at *PNC Global investment Services* is a plus

·         Previous experience with the *FSR TA system* is highly desirable
