Details include: · Startup Insurance Company with an Aggressive roadmap seeks a seasoned individual with 5-7years experience working within an Infrastructure Environment supporting Windows SVR/AD Environment. Infrastructure systems are co-located in Montreal with a Datacenter in London currently under construction. Senior System Admin will be based out of the NY Office reporting into the Manager of Enterprise Systems. We are seeking a Senior System Admin that has expertise in VMWare/Citrix and very strong Storage experiences who can lead these technologies. The candidate must also posses a good understanding of the other technologies with the Systems Domain. · Should have experience in the following Infrastructure Area's but are not limited to and preferably top handed in VMWARE/Storage/Citrix. · Great understanding of Windows 2003 Active Directory (Security, Administration, GPO, FSMO roles, Sites and Services, replication, Domain Controllers.) · Windows SVR 2003/2008 · VMware (Virtual Center, ESXHosts) Preferable strength - Building out Clusters, SRM, Fault Tolerance. · Symantec Backup Exec/CommVault/DPM or comparable Backup System. · SAN administration, Snapshotting, Replication, iSCSI (NetApp/Equallogic) · Citrix XenApp/VDI experience- Citrix Presentation Server, building out Farms. · Knowledge of Blackberry Enterprise Server · Knowledge of Server Hardware IBM, HP, Blade Chassis infrastructure · General Network understanding. · Experience in Microsoft Sharepoint Services a plus. · DR knowledge and understanding *Job Responsibilities will include: * · Support current Bermuda Office Infrastructure and help facilitate the migration of Bermuda Systems into Montreal/London Datacenter. · Assume responsibilities for maintaining Storage environment. Creating and allocating space for iSCSI LUNS, configuring replication and snapshotting strategies. · Assist with Backups for Entire Global Infrastructure. · Troubleshoot software/hardware related issues revolving around Microsoft operating systems and host hardware. · Assist with Citrix Farm Environment. This includes configuration on the Presentation Server level as well as troubleshoot specific issues within the environment. · Build and configure Windows Servers (physical & virtual). · Build, configure, and troubleshoot VMWare specific items- this includes, ESXhosts, Clusters, Virtual Center, Update Manager, SRM, Fault Tolerance, Resource Pools. · Assist with patching specific infrastructure and business applications. · Ability to Document builds and procedures. · Ideal Candidate should be able to thrive in a time-critical, results-oriented environment. The candidate must be organized and self-disciplined. Candidate should have the ability to manage multiple concurrent activities and meet timeframes and deliverables. BA degree in Computer Science or Related field preferred. · MCSE is a plus but not necessary. · Effective communication and interpersonal skills. · Overtime work is a must and travel as required.
