Title :- Sharepoint Systems Administrator Location:- Dubuque, Iowa Duration:- 12 month contracts NO DEVELOPERS PLEASE ONLY PURE ADMINISTRATORS Systems Administrator Microsoft: Install and configure MS SharePoint Services. Update/Create operational procedures for SharePoint services. Configure security for servers. Install and configure Antivirus software for SharePoint Portal Services. Configure default templates. Set maximum form attachment size and quotas. SSL enable the SharePoint Web Front-End server(s). Configure SMTP server for SharePoint utilization. Coordinate with Physical DBA team the SQL server database creation. Administer the scalability and maintenance of the SharePoint server(s). Performance and capacity management of SharePoint servers. Perform SharePoint server load balancing as needed. Administer SharePoint deployment configurations (Including: web front end, Job, Search and Index servers). Manage/Create Portals and associated personal portal sites. Backup and Recover portal sites and portal data. Administer SharePoint sites, paths, areas and document versioning. Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for the SharePoint Servers server(s). Manage Search server settings. SQL database management/collaboration with physical DBA team. Manage alternate Portal access (Portal URL to other portals/web servers). Administer Document and Image libraries. Manage documents libraries that interface with other applications. Administer web discussion boards. Administer Microsoft Internet Information Server. Create/Manage SharePoint Portal Lists (Lists can include: Contacts, Announcements, Events, Tasks, Issues, and Links). Patch/Hotfix Management of Share Point Server.
