*POSITION:  SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER** (C# / .NET)*

*Located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin*.  The company is a manufacturer of outboard
marine engines.  They are in need of a software development engineer for an
estimated 12-month contract, with the strong possibility of converting to a
direct employee.



The product being developed is a service tool used to diagnose problems with
boat engines.

* *

*General Responsibilities: *

·         Design, develop and maintain marine gauge software and service
technician diagnostic software applications on PC and CE platforms.

·         Use production development tools and practices including the use
of source control, issue tracking, technical specifications, Gantt charts
and project organization tools such as Microsoft SharePoint and SourceForge.


·         Follow company coding style and commenting guidelines, use of best
practices, and unit testing.


*Technical Skills: *

·         Experience with C# and .NET framework required

·         Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP)

·         Experience with WPF, Expression Blend a plus

·         Solid understanding of XML, XPath, and XML serialization in .NET

·         Familiar with formal development communications such as UML, Moore
and Mealy state diagrams, and software specifications



*Education & Experience:*

   - BS in Computer Science or Software Engineering required
      - Detailed explanation of how the applicant meets the requirements of
      equivalent knowledge in relation to the required degrees listed above is
      also acceptable.
