Don’t want Developers…* * * *Informatica Requirements* * * § Strong Informatica Administration skills § In-depth experience with Informatica PowerCenter, version 8.x, including unstructured data and push-down optimization options § In-depth experience with setting up, loading and maintaining Informatica Meta Data Manager or a comparable product that integrates fully with Informatica § Strong repository creation / migration experience § Unix programming skills, ability to write UNIX shell scripting § Analytical SQL skills, ability to write SQL statements to solve business problems § Install / Upgrade / Configure / Maintain (including optimization and tuning) PowerCenter instances on UNIX and Windows platform servers including working with UNIX and Database Administrators to create and maintain each instance § Configure Database and ODBC connectivity to various source / target databases § Independently perform complex troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, solution development § Create and manage users, groups and folders. Ensure privileges are assigned appropriately § Coordinate with Informatica support for patches and updates § Performance tuning covering the areas of: session, source and target mappings § Creation, management and tuning of ETL scripts in a multi-thread environment incorporating Oracle 10g – 11g, SQL Server and Informatica 8.x § Work with the DW team to document end-to-end DW processes and all interactions thereof § Create and publish all source to target mappings, transformations and data flow through the entire spectrum of the data warehouse environment that includes an ODS and multiple Data Marts § Create reusable, sustainable and maintainable automated processes for all elements of the ODS and Data Marts § Schedule jobs and automated processes § Define and standardize attributes and entities with the development and DBA teams § Share and coach other team members in DOT’s DW environment and ETL methodology *Informatica Knowledge* * * § Five to seven years of Informatica ETL programming and administration experience § Five to seven years of Unix experience as stated above § Five to seven years of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL experience § Five to seven years experience in multiple databases (definite plus) § BI Tool integration experience preferably Cognos 8 BI Suite Linda Monalisa Aim Computer Consulting N.
