We have an immediate position with one of our prestigious client for Junior Project Manager *Please revert back with an updated resume as per the Job Description (Below) work authorization and the best time and best number to reach you once you are interested* *contact me through official Email id* : [email protected] Title: Junior Project Manager Duration: 6+ months Location: Iowa City, IA Rate: Market Job Description: The Project Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating development work within the organization. · The Project Manager is responsible for all release management activities from requirements through implementation including: release packaging and commitment, milestone tracking, status reporting, and coordination of activities across groups. · The Project Manager is also responsible for managing scope changes and participates in environment management activities. · The Project Manager position falls under the Planning organization but works closely with Product Development, Assessment Delivery, and Product Administration. · Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects and facilitate teams to achieve quality solutions. · Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communications skills and ability to facilitate work groups. · Ability to lead status and planning meetings. · Demonstrated ability to work productively with diverse teams. · Ability to effectively present status and planning information to senior management. · Ability to manage project commitments to ensure that the project comes in on-time. Education and Experience: · Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. PMP certification desired. · A minimum of three (3) years of experience in technology project management, or software development with lead or manager responsibilities preferred. · Ability to understand, analyze, and communicate project issues and project status is required. · Experience supporting multiple highly volatile, multi-group projects strongly preferred. · Familiarity with MS Projects (or similar tools) preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Identifying, documenting, communicating, and managing risks. · Accurately reporting status to senior management. · Identifying, documenting, and managing scope change . · Providing guidance, support, and authority to the team. · Providing input to the Change Acceptance Board. · Interfacing with managers and other development groups to create efficient product development and deployment strategies. · Communicating release information and system maintenance notifications to customers as needed.
