May provide supervision to direct reports including performance management and associate development. • Ability to work independently to define, manage, and complete activities • Experience with IT Strucured Software Testing, Testing Specialized, TestDirector, and WinRunner • Knowledge of the software testing discipline and its integration with software development life cycle • Ability to mentor and act as first line supervisor to lower level staff • Ability to develop and execute effective plans for quality management, review, and audit • Ability to track and develop metrics for quality assurance • To the extent that it is reasonable, goes the “extra mile” to make sure that each individual’s needs are met. • Tailors the information to appeal to the level and interest of others • Outlines potential cost/savings outcomes of technology use • Understands how the IT group operates and how his/her role meets customer needs and creates value • Identifies opportunities or problems and acts quickly and decisively to respond to the situation • Takes initiative to work on challenging or “stretch” work assignments • Bachelor of Science degree or Equivalent or 4+ years of experience • Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software testing solutions. • Strong knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies *REQUIREMENT 2* Job Title – *Sr Java J2ee Developer* Location - White Plains, NY Duration – 11 months Rate - $45/hr * * *Description:* The Senior Java/J2EE Developer will be responsible for Code Development, Unit Testing and may be asked to participate in developing High level design, Detailed design, use cases, Sequence diagrams and Work flow diagrams. Resource should have exposure working with large/numerous teams for integration. Resource is expected to work on various components within rates specific project tasks. Basic Qualifications: 1. Should have at least 6+ years of Java experience 2. Experience with Java UI Swing / AWT 3. 5+ years of experience in J2EE application life cycle 4. Well versed with J2EE standard design patterns 5. Experience with Hibernate or other O/R Data Access packages 6. Weblogic (T3 procotcol) and Oracle with strong SQL and PL/SQL skills is must 7. Experience in multi-threading is must 8. JMS experience is preferred 9. Hands on experience with Web Services/SOAP over HTTP/SOAP over JMS Additional Preferred Skill Requirements: • Hospitality industry experience is preferred *REQUIREMENT 3* Job Title – *Quality Center Tester ( Medical Domain)* Location - Minneapolis, MN Duration – 6+ months Rate - $45/hr *Required skills:* - Proficiency in using Quality Center. - Understanding of quality regulations and testing techniques required for the medical device industry. - Past Experience in Agile methodology in testing. - Prepare UAT Plans, Test Scenarios and Test cases. - Defect logging and Defect Retesting. - Exposure to functional testing, System Testing, Regression Testing. - Good experience in Web testing, standalone application testing, interface/UI testing and backend testing. - Participate in meetings with various customer internal functions and gather testing requirements. - Demonstrated analytical thinking, process mapping, process improvement and problem solving skills. - High energy and motivation with an ability to adapt to change. - Ability to manage multiple, complex priorities and work in large virtual team environment Past experience with Agile methodology.
