** *Job Description : * �Ǒퟜ춗瘡諰ͦ�ͦ> /�Ǒퟜ춗瘡諰ͦ�ͦ> Summary The increasingly complex nature of ET functions and business growth are combining to provide the need for an experience professional project management role. This role is critical in coordinating cross functionally within Enterprise Technologies generally, and with our Application and Vendor partners as needed. This individual will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of all project plans; for tracking the progress of the various sub projects; and for preparation of periodic reports for senior management on project progress. Integral will be overseeing communications planning for involving our (internal) clients in the process. nbsp; *The Design* · The technology Infrastructure has been design to support the growth of the firm over the next 15 years Review of CLIENT's preferences, standards, and infrastructure requirements Working to in sure collaborative technologies and collaborative spaces are fully operational Participate in the AV testing and convergence plans Working with our turret provider on Turret installation and trid layouts Insure all broker ring down lines are tested fully Managed the process of testing and certifying of CLIENT applications on wireless LAN's Insuring that all Trading systems and processes are tested and operational Conduct a thorough review of the existing Programming documents to become familiar with the stacking, adjacencies, and overall layout of the spaces nbsp; *Meetings * Attend regular project meetings, respond to emails, phone calls, etc. with architect, engineers and client team to provide information and consulting assistance. Generate meeting notes which are representative of the IT areas which are discussed in these project meetings. Maintain an accurate status on items which is reflected in the meeting notes. * * *Implementation* Oversee the process for installation, tracking and testing of IT infrastructure. Conduct periodic site visits during project design phase to review progress, resolve issues, and ensure the cabling is being installed according to EIA/TIA standards and RFP specifications Attend weekly construction and project coordination meetings on-site to ensure that any adds, moves or changes to the overall design are properly coordinated with the implementation teams and vendors Respond to any vendor or client-initiated RFPs and e-mails that are generated during the implementation phase Conduct a final walk-through with WMC, the implementation vendors and review the requirements for each phase and insure accuracy of work scheduled Prepare a punch list for each phase, as it is completed. Coordinate the delivery of all certification, test results and as-built drawings from each vendor to WMC * * *Candidates should have experience in the following areas.* Specific experience managing IT Infrastructure (Communications, Server, Operational, etc.) related projects Training in advanced use of Microsoft Project and project management methodology excellent analytical skills, as well as strong attention to detail Understanding of IT/Operational ‘best practices and frameworks', such as, ITIL MSF, MOF, CMM, CMMI Able to manage large complex group-wide projects; prioritise and evaluate alternative project strategies; present & justify proposals to group management; provide leadership; organize multi-function project teams. Consensus builder -- Manages expectations, understands business to address needs, defines impact of project changes/services, defines project & service delivery standards to ensure high quality deliverables Team Building Skills -- Must have leadership skills to develop commitment and maintain momentum on multi-function projects with virtual team members. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to interact & negotiate across WMC functional groups Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead using influence and persuasive argument Financial services experience is also highly desired.
