Position ; Seebeyond Programmer Location : Pleasanton, CA Duration : 4months currently seeking a Seebeyond Programmer to work at one of our client's facilities in the Pleasanton, CA area. The duration will be 4 months, with the possibility of extensions in contact and/or offer of perm employment. Key Activities & Responsibilities: * Seebeyond OnCall Support o Seebeyond - On Call Support (available off hours) o Seebeyond Server and Environment Management o Seebeyond Support cases o Programming * Code changes in eGate 4.5.3 (Java and Monk) o Manage server scripts o Knowledge Base maintenance * Change/Release Management o Defect deployments * Root Cause Analysis and Resolution o Production Incident Report creation * Application development and testing (production defects) o Code changes in eGate 4.5.3 (Java and Monk) * Enhance Integration support processes o Work to team to re-fine and update support processes and best practices Required: - 5+ years experience with minimum 3+ years experience on eGate 4.5.3. - Strong Java skills. - Knowledge of Monk and UNIX shell scripting. - Familiarity with Oracle, SAP, UNIX, XML. - Familiarity with JAVA 6, JAX-B, JAX-WS, EJB 3.0, JMS, Eclipse 3.x, - Worked on AIX, Oracle and Weblogic server. - Strong communication skills, written and oral - Experience facilitating cross-team analysis and resolution for production support - Experience and knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle. - MS Office, Visio, Brio, PVCS and SharePoint working knowledge Desired: - Technical Writing and Documenting processes. - Ability to consult "best industry standards" regarding integration, open standards, etc. - Excellent Knowledge of applications/systems integration technologies such as UC4, XML, XML Schema, - Knowledge of communication protocols such as FTP, SCP and VPN15. - Knowledge of encryption/decryption of PGP. - Need to have the ability to multi-task, and to be an excellent team member with strong inter-personal and communication skills. - Demonstrated ability to delivery software projects of high complexity and risk - Familiarity with CommonJ, Java Mail, Log4J, ALSB, Xquery - Familiarity with ANT Scripting, ANT Source Control (ClearCase or similar tools) Thanks & Regards sandi Recruiter G Technologies Inc. 4340 Stevens Creek Blvd, San Jose, CA 95129.
