Logs all incoming work, and records sufficient information to facilitate effective incident, problem, or request processing. . Identifies the impact, urgency, and priority of incidents, problems, and requests. . Provides initial support for incidents and requests. . Escalates incidents, problems, and requests that cannot be resolved by the service desk to the appropriate Service Delivery team, and monitor progress. . Communicates the status of all open incidents, problems, and requests. . Serves as the first point of contact for all incidents, problems, and requests. . Investigates and diagnose the incidents and problems according to their effects, and identify the resolution or error. . Raises Requests for Change (RFCs) to resolve errors and prevent the recurrence of problems. . Monitors the progress on the resolution of errors. . Assists the Incident Management team in handling major incidents, and identify the root causes. . Assists in resolving issues that affect release scope, quality, schedule, budget, and resources. . Makes sure the release work product adhere to unit standards. . Makes sure the release documentation (including user guides, reference materials and administrator guides) are updated based on release changes. . Develops and manages release communications, including release scope, status, issues, feedback mechanisms, and release deployment. . Develops and maintains the release's Communications Plans.
