Responsibilities
Understand and interpret business requirements and develop solutions to fit
those requirements in a project environment
Design and develop new web-based applications and maintain existing
applications using .NET3.5, C#, VB.Net, SQLServer2005/2008
Participate in weekly meetings and maintain daily communication with users
to compile comprehensive requirements information, provide recommendations
and solutions
Translate knowledge from user’s interaction to generate and maintain proper
documentation
Partner with business managers and help desk to provide user support in
various projects and initiatives
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent years of work experience
required; plus
Minimum of four (4) years experience in .NET Development framework
Four to ten years of development experience in web and windows applications,
Visual Studio2008, .NET3.5, VB.Net, XML, XSLT, SQL Server 2005/2008, ASP.NET,
SOA, web services security architecture, self-service portals
Knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft xRM/CRM Dynamics, Facets, QNXT,
claims processing, SQL Server Reporting and Analysis Services and Visual
SourceSafe a plus
Strong knowledge of PC systems and MS Office (or other similar productivity
applications to support e-mail, word processing, and spreadsheet
applications)
Knowledge of health care a plus
Ability to establish and meet target dates; must be able to multi-task
effectively and handle multiple development projects
Ability to build strong relationships with various internal and external
sources including business owners
Excellent communications skills both written and verbal, planning and
organizational skills
