*Responsibilities*
Create and maintain test plans that define test methods and tools to be
employed for the assigned project and accurately scope the required
resources and other project parameters for assigned projects.
Conduct, or lead the conduct of the test plan on the assigned application.
Provide technical guidance to other members of testing team.
Serve as consultant on testing projects, advising less experienced staff or
management on design of test plan and testing protocols.
*Requirements*
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a
related field.
• 8+ years of software development and software testing experience
related to complex, large scale business applications.
Applicant's experience should encompass the following:
-implementation and maintenance of repository management
software tools;
-development of regression testing applications with the use
of scripting languages;
-execution of regression tests and analysis of results;
-development and execution of test plans;
-identification and documentation of test cases for
multi-component systems.
• 5+ years of UNIX experience.
• Mastery of software tools, platforms, processes, and languages such
as XML, SQL, and Ab Initio.
• Demonstrated problem solving, design and technical leadership
skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Desired:*
• Masters degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline.
• General background in fixed-income finance.
• General background in accounting.
• Quantitative analysis experience.
