Title: .NET Developers Location: Vancouver, WASHINGTON (US) Duration: 6 months Note: must be US citizen or Green Card holder. Job Details: This role requires analyzing and understanding of requirement and design documents (Use Cases, Class diagrams, design models etc) and building fully functional application components on .NET platform - detailed design, build, unit test and application test. Candidate will work closely with the Team lead, applying defined standards and practices developing n-tier application. They will also work with Business Analysts (BAs) clarifying the requirements. After delivery of a component, candidate will support testers during application testing (during which period the candidate will be responsible for rapid analysis and resolution of issues. Candidate will repeatedly execute these steps, in an agile development environment. Work Description: • Understanding business and functional requirement specifications and producing detailed designs and functional application code confirming to coding standards and practices under the direction of team lead and software development manager. • Working with other team members and team lead understanding design documents, preparing and updating class diagrams, sequence diagrams and other design documents. • Working with business analysts for requirement clarifications and with the testers to confirm test coverage, support application testing and complete rapid issue resolution. Skills Required: This person will have the following skills: • 4-6 years of strong experience in Object Oriented design and development skills with.NET technologies (ASP.NET and C#) • 1-2 years of strong experience in GUI design and development in .NET technologies including JavaScript, HTML/XHTML, CSS and cross browser implementations, Storyboards and simple HTML Prototypes • Must have experience creating ASP .NET custom controls • Must have experience with N-tier architecture, full software development life cycle and ORM • Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS); Enterprise Architect (EA) and BizTalk desired • Experience with Web Client Software Factory is a plus • Strong team player, Analytical skills, Delivery focused • Good communication skills Other desired skills: • Unemployment Insurance experience preferred. • Experience with NHibernate, Spring, Workflow Foundation, Enterprise Architecture, Team Foundation Server, BizTalk • Fund accounting (Government, Research University) financial system experience (benefits, pensions, etc.) helpful.
