Location: Indianapolis, in Length: 3 months Rate: $35/hr *Responsible for supporting the company-wide metrics and reporting strategy. *** MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Provides technical assistance and consultation to other in the use of data. Extensively uses the application of statistical methods and presents data findings to executive leadership. Determines and implements solution for data findings. Provides information found in data for continuous process improvement. Mentors junior metrics analysts and provides support to others as needed. EDUCATION/EXPERIENC E Requires BA/BS degree in business or math related field and 8-10 years of data collection/analysis experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MS preferred. Incumbent should also have a solid understanding of metric and statistical calculations and data consulting/presenta tion experience; knowledge of OLAP reporting tools required. Incumbent should be able to work independently and make recommendations based on statistical analysis. Additional Job Description Details Coordinate and lead the definition, implementation and enhancement of a Project Delivery Metrics Program to support the efficient and effective execution of software delivery within IT. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Provides technical assistance and consultation to others in the use of data. Extensively uses the application of statistical methods and presents data findings to executive leadership. Determines and implements solutions for data findings. Provides information found in data for continuous process improvement. Mentors junior metrics analysts and provides support to others as needed. Additional duties may include, but are not limited to: •Coordinate activities between project teams and external vendors and consultants •Responsible for project delivery metrics and reporting, including gathering of data, production/distribu tion of reports, and identification of improvement opportunities. •Responsible for the maintenance of the project delivery metrics capability, including documentation, testing the process, reporting results, communication and training of IT Delivery Organization. •Analyze and report on project delivery metrics, identify improvement opportunities and perform root cause analysis. Experience in RUP, Agile and other SDLCs, or experience with Rational tools (ReqPro, Clearquest, Clearcase, etc.) preferred.
