Business Analyst with healthcare experience. Under general direction, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and implementation of procedures and systems affecting business functions or activities. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 1. Assess and analyze business requirements to produce desired results. Works closely with other IS staff to specify business requirements and translate them to well designed requirements document Contributes to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance Use system tools to develop adhoc queries and reports in response to user requests 2. Act as a business consultant for Core System and/or Clients applications. Provides functional assistance in the pursuit of identifying production problems Research and propose solutions including cost projections, expense analysis, feasibility studies, etc. Completes the development of written instructional manuals, processes, and other required forms Suggests and implements standards and controls by identifying needed control points, establishing and documenting approved control procedures for creation and maintenance of Client Standards and Procedures and for the Client Project Development Methodology document 3. Provide general support for Core System and/or Clients applications. Documents problems with formal Program Change Requests Contributes to the development and implementation of operating standards and procedures to insure quality and integrity in data collection, input and reporting in automated and manual systems 4. Develop good working relationship with peers and users. 5. Complete other duties as assigned. *Requirements for this position include*: Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree plus equivalent Three (3) years relevant experience in health plan or related industry Three (3) plus years of experience as a user liaison defining user business requirements, required Three (3) plus years of experience in the design and creation of documentation to support business requirements, required Two (2) plus years of Managed Care, Health Care, or Insurance experience, required Two (2) plus years creating and implementating application testing procedures and scripts, preferred Ability to learn and implement new and/or different techniques Ability to work independently or as part of a team Excellent ability to analyze problems and select proper resolution Excellent ability to organize tasks and maintain project schedules Excellent written and oral communication skills Experience with data integration and conversion processes, preferred Knowledge of MS-Office products suite, required Must be self-starter *Thanks & Regards,* Albert Connell || Sr.Technical Recruiter CAT Technology Inc.
