Location: Jacksonville, FL Duration: 6-12 months Rate: Open/Hr Job Description: 70% functional , 30% Technical 4-6 months The Senior Application Analyst is responsible for supporting a recently implemented Oracle R12 e-Business Suite (Financials). The Senior Application Analyst is responsible for providing production support to the newly implemented system, i.e. developing, maintaining, and improving the system. Specific Responsibilities include: Ability to understand Oracle applications to achieve high business value through standard functionality without the use of customizations. Good technical/functional knowledge in Oracle Financial modules with major emphasis on GL, AR, AP & PA. Design and develop custom reports and interfaces. Should have a good understanding of database & table structure in the Oracle financials area (GL, AP, AR, PA) Write adhoc queries to meet immediate reporting & support requirements. Good programming knowledge with expertise in SQL & PL/SQL. Extensive experience troubleshooting application problems and working with Oracle Support to resolve issues. Experience working on Service Requests (SRs) with My Oracle Support. Understands the core business processes related to Oracle Financials. Defines and applies the appropriate level of testing to ensure quality solutions; ability to test patches utilizing test scripts. Applies past experiences to identify alternative solutions for current issues. Strives to understand the customer; giving high priority to customers satisfaction while exhibiting professional behaviors. Supports applications in an efficient manner by documenting and automating routine IT tasks. Support current production environment. Position Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is required (technical experience may be substituted for degree); an advanced degree in a Finance discipline will be considered a plus. 6+ years in Oracle applications 11i, with a minimum of 3 years working with Oracle Financials. R12 experience will be considered a plus. Expert technical/functional knowledge of Oracle Financial Applications (Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Accounts Receivables, Oracle Payables, Oracle Project Accounting) Knowledge of Hyperion is a plus.
