Our client, a specialist IT Services & Solutions provider is seeking a Sr. Java
Developer to help build custom web-based client applications. This individual
will be part of a team developing an application and customized reports using
Cognos as the Business Intelligence tool.
Responsibilities include:
. Ability to develop using Java technologies
. Ability to work with team and stakeholders to discover project requirements
. Extend and maintain existing Java/GWT/Bing Maps Solution
. Identify and communicate creative solution options to stakeholders
. Plan and develop new solutions according to established requirements
. Manage integration of solutions into the production Linux environment.
Required Skills:
. 5 years of experience developing with Core Java, Servlets, HTML/JavaScript/CSS
. Experience with Bing Maps, Google Maps API's
. Spring
. Hibernate
. Apache Maven
. Apache HTTP Server and Tomcat
. Database knowledge, SQL, DB2
. Unix, Linux, Windows
. Experience with Cognos is a plus
