Client is building a very large repository for medical documents. They would Like a Sr Ruby on Rails Developer to act as "team captain" and set the fundamentals of the architecture (Ruby/PostgreSQL). The client is picking the tools and the candidate will need to make sure everything bolts together properly. This is a "Bullpen" work environment, can be loud and noisy at times.. Java development and OO design, documentation. Strong Java (J2EE) developer skills with some experience in systems design. 4-5 years experience in Enterprise Java development (J2EE); Experience with the RAD 6.0 team environment; Extensive experience with Web Services (SOAP); Object-oriented analysis and design skills; The ability to read and produce UML diagrams; Familiarity with WebSphere Application Server 6; Experience writing unit test using JUnit.. *Additional Skills*:.
