Title: SAP / Business Objects Data Developer
Duration: 3+ months
Location: Parsippany, NJ
Job Description:
Responsible for designing, developing and maintaining Crystal Reports, Web
Intelligence and Universe (Dashboards a plus). You will work with Business
Analyst, Database development, and QA to gain an understanding of the business
and technical functions and help design reports.
Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:
-5+ years related work experience with large scale BI systems (500+ users)
. Experience in Business Objects XI, Universe, Crystal Reports, Web
Intelligence, Infoview (ePortfolio), Business View Manager and CMC
. Develop Crystal Reports with sub- reports, parameters, summarizing data,
on-demand sub- reports, LOV and drill-down
. Proficient in using SQL, stored procedure and understanding relational data
structures/models/relationships
. Strong in Relational Database Management - SQL Server 2000
. Do unit testing of reports to confirm that they work as expected in
Development environment, both in Crystal Reports and when published to Business
Objects Enterprise XI R2 environment
. Publish reports in BOE XI R2 environment QA environment for Systems and User
Acceptance testing
. Respond quickly to issues which emerge in Systems and User Acceptance testing
. Outstanding communication and organization skills
. Self-starter and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
. Ability to work on a small team
. Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
. Environment:
-BOE XI R2 (Windows), Crystal Reports XI R2, Business View Manager, Webi,
Universe, Xcelsius, HTML, Java script, VB Script, SQL Server 2000/2005, Oracle
8i/9i, Citrix Server, ODBC, OLE-DB
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics or a related field - BOCP
Crystal Reports Certification a Plus
Preferred skills:
. Knowledge of Managed URL Reporting (Crystal & Webi) from Business Objects
Enterprise into a .Net application is a plus
. Knowledge of Dashboard manager, Performance Management & Xcelsius a plus
