Rate: $45/hr on C2C Max The Application Development Consultant is one of several technical customer-facing roles performed by a Professional services consulting organization. The candidate is responsible for: the analysis, design, development and delivery of software solutions, defining client requirements for new applications and customization. Develop, customize, and test applications to integrate to client-specific environments. Provide application prototyping and benchmarking services to prove the viability of new technology solutions to our customers. Typically engage in post-sale delivery activities, but may participate in pre-sales activities directly with customers. Work with leading edge .NET technologies including Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation, ASP.Net and ADO.Net. Experience with Java Enterprise technologies and Adobe Flex are a plus. This is an intermediate level position that manages multiple, moderately complex assignments as part of a customer engagement. This position requires a technical degree in computer science or related discipline, and 7 to 10 years related experience. Additional Job Description : Excellent knowledge required of .NET Framework (3.5 or higher), C# (5+ years experience) ADO.NET(5+ years experience), SQL Server 2005 or higher (3+ years experience). Ability to develop Windows Applications with WPF, perform XML processing, create reports using Crystal Reports and a strong Oracle 10g or better background.
