Role: Cold Fusion Programmer
Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 1 year
Rate: $45-50/HR
*Mandatory Job Title Requirements: *
• Minimum 8 years experience developing web
applications in ColdFusion.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science,
Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience and
technical training is required plus minimum 8 years experience.
• Demonstrated English language communication
skills.
1. 8+ years developing applications with
ColdFusion programming language. Experience with Version 8.x+ experience
and/or Adobe Certified CF Expert a plus.
2. Experience with the integration and use of
Microsoft SQL Server with regard to Cold Fusion web applications.
3. Expertise in integration of SiteMinder and/or
LDAP security into ColdFusion web applications.
4. Experience with current level of development
products and tools including: CFEclipse, Subversion (SVN), TOAD, jQuery.
5. Demonstrated ability to develop accessible
websites that are 508 compliant.
6. Expertise in structured markup languages
(HTML, SML) and transformation technologies (XSL, XSLT) required.
7. Experience in JavaScript, AJAX and UML.
Experience with ColdFusion frameworks; for example, ColdBox, FW1 or
CFWheels.
NOTE: The successful bidder must provide a copy of a selected candidate’s
diploma or an official transcript from the educational institution PRIOR to
commencement of work.
*Duties and Responsibilities *
Develop enterprise applications using a distributed, three-tier Cold Fusion
environment.
• Develop and maintain Java, HTML XML, XSLT as directed.
• Work with frameworks; for example, ColdBox, FW1 or CFWheels.
• Develop and maintain system and application documentation
• Adherence to OFT policies, procedures and standards.
• Implement changes to Development and Quality Assurance
environments prior to Production.
• Perform approved production changes scheduled in off hour
maintenance windows as assigned.
• Must be available to work extra upon need for unscheduled
problems and emergencies.
