End Date: 08/31/2011 Location: Chicago, IL *Required Skills*: -SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) - 3 years with 1 implementation -SAP Project Systems (PS) - 1 year with 1 implementation -SAP ABAP: Data Transfer (Conversions) *Pre-Qualifying questions that must be answered before submitting*: -Has the candidate worked in more than 4 SAP projects playing a data conversion role? -Is the candidate very familiar with SD and PS SAP tables and data structures? -Is the candidate experienced in data mining tools such as SQL? *Description of Services*: This position is the conduit between the functional owners and programmers that will prepare data for conversion loading. The candidate is expected to be very familiar with SAP tables and configurations so that data mapping and requirements are clear to the team. The position needs to be able to work with both the business/functional team members as well as the technical team members. Programming experience is not a priority but a plus. Knowledge of creating LSMW is very important. SQL is a must as the position might have to mine through legacy data as part of mapping/cleansing research. Tasks involve source/target data mapping, identifying required data, identifying cleansing requirements, documenting procedures and business rules. *Deliverables*: Create data maps that will be used to develop the Extract and Transformaiton portion of ETL. These data maps will be developed in conjunction with the functional consultants and business owners and contain all of the required business rules that will be implemented in the ETL process. Create Process documentation that will contain the order in which the ETL tasks will be performed for each of the conversion data streams. Assist in the development of the data validation requirements and procedures.
