Minimum of four years experience in web application design, development, and
testing. The candidate must have strong knowledge of core Java and JSP.
Knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts (preferably Oracle) is
also required. Knowledge of JavaScript and AJAX a strong plus. Knowledge
of Excel and PDF APIs also a plus. Candidates must be detail-oriented,
well-organized, possess good written & oral communication skills, excellent
problem-solving skills and be able to work well in a team environment. The
candidates will be part of a quickly moving development effort to enhance
and extend an existing web based application.

The Senior Technical Writer's job description is as follows:
Research, write, and verify customer documentation for Optical Transport
products. Interact with Marketing, Engineering and Customer Service to
obtain technical input.
Work hands on with Transport products to validate documentation accuracy.
Meet required deadlines for documentation deliverables.
Minimum of 6 years experience writing user documentation (prefer at least 2
year in Telecommunication Industry).
Management Systems and TL1 experience highly desirable.
Frame Maker knowledge required. Arbortext XML experience a plus.
Candidate needs to have excellent written communication skills, ability to
convey system applications/complex ideas at a basic user level, ability to
work independently and as part of a team, a technical aptitude, and have a
positive attitude toward learning new things.
