JD Ewards Developer *(Must be Senior Level Developer)* Detroit, MI 18 Months RATE : $58/hr C2C AI *Interview: Phone & Face to Face!!* * * *1.** FUNCTION (DEPARTMENT ROLE):* Implement new code or code enhancements to support the FBAP client server environment as a result of new client launches and evolving business needs of existing FBAP clients. Work effectively in all stages of the product development lifecycle (translate user requirements into design, detail design, code, test, support, etc.). As a member of a team, implement code enhancements to the JDEdwards financial system, Captiva/OCR data extraction tools, vendor applications and custom logistics applications using Microsoft programming tools. In addition, the role will require research into issues and questions, coordination with vendors, problem resolution, and analysis of failed batch jobs and custom programs. *Responsibilities:* - Review and clarify business requirements with internal users and external clients. - Develop a functional specification (high-level design) and corresponding estimated work effort to implement requested changes. - Create a detail design based on requirements and functional specification. - Code, unit test, integration test, migration and implementation. - Provide post-implementation and on-going support of the application. - Work closely with Product Managers, Project Managers and executive team to provide status and other required information. - Assist Client’s Operations Teams and FBAP business teams (i.e. auditors, accountants, data entry, TMOS, EDI, etc.) with their questions. - Coordinate with other IT teams and external vendors. *QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE)* *Requirements:* - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems or equivalent job experience - 5+ years of JD Edwards financials and/or VB5/6, VB .net Windows API and/or Captiva/OCR programming experience. - Minimum of 2 year of experience in Oracle and MS SQL database SQL language scripting, - Minimum of 2 year of experience in DAO, RDO and ADO middle ware. - Minimum of 2 year of experience in Windows environment, IIS and Citrix environment. - Minimum of 2 year of experience in reports writing tools. *Additional requirements:* - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work within a diverse team environment - Ability to work under stressful conditions - Effective organizational and project management skills - The role requires some after-hours and weekend support - Experience in all phases of the Systems Development Lifecycle -- Regards Santosh Delight Consulting Services LLC. 2565 S.
