Informatica Data Archive Consultant

Location: LA, CA

Length: 3 months with Extension

Start: ASAP

The candidate would be responsible for all aspects of the data archiving
development lifecycle including gathering requirements, documenting
requirements, building the archive specifications/design, configure the
specifications into the archiving tool, testing and executing the archive,
and working with the business/end users to validate the archive once it is
complete. This position requires the candidate to be extremely proactive,
task-oriented, results-oriented, working with both the software vendor and
the customer to deliver results on schedule. Candidate must be able to
thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
• Interact with business/end users to gather, analyze, and document customer
requirements
• Build technical specifications and configure them into an archiving tool
• Provide data analysis and identify and troubleshoot any data-related
issues
• Develop scripts to interface with external systems/databases
• Develop SQL scripts for data analysis and validation in peoplesoft and/or
db2 environment

Skills Required
• Informatica Informia Archive

 Excellent functional knowledge of Peoplesoft Financial Management Suite in
a business analyst role
• SQL Scripting (4 Years)
• DB2 Data Analyst (4 years)
• Strong analysis/troubleshooting skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive/Self-Starter
• Task-oriented
• Strong customer service
• Able to drive/lead meetings and build consensus around requirements


Skills Preferred
• Mainframe experience
• Data Archiving experience
• Project management skills
