Length: 6-9 months Start :ASAP Interview :phone Rate: 65/HR all inclusive Responsible for the planning, management, & delivery of IT projects within budget and on time. Initial projects include but are not limited to: · SharePoint 2010 upgrade & the additional deployment of it; · additional deployment of COGNOS; · web-site related projects; and other COTS upgrades / enhancements. 1. Develops project strategy, corresponding project plan, identifies necessary resources, and proactively leads project team through to successful implementation. 2. Create strategies for risk mitigation & contingency planning. 3. Identifies & manages project dependencies & critical path. 4. Proactively identifies and resolves project issues. 5. Leads and conducts project status meetings. 6. Maintains project documentation. 7. Manages project plan, project budget & 3rd party vendors. 8. Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills. 9. Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and be accountable for their assigned work. 10. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Qualifications 1. PMP Certification or equivalent preferred. 2. Bachelors Degree or higher in Technology or related field. 3. Minimum of 4 years of PM experience. 4. COTS implementation PM experience. 5. SharePoint and web technologies experience. 6. Minimum 3 years experience coordinating and/supporting IT business processes. 7. Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies. 8. Strong written and oral communication skills. 9. Strong interpersonal skills. 10. Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products. 11.
