Urgent Position: Oracle Developer ---Financial services experience (preferably Investment Banking).
Client: Direct Client Duration: Long Term Contract Location: Stamford, CT Detailed knowledge and at least 5 years experience of working with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL Experience with large data warehouses, analytical functions, Oracle partitioning, referential integrity concepts/implementations Strong background in PL/SQL and SQL tuning with Oracle. Good understanding of operating systems like UNIX, Linux and Windows NT/XP platforms. Detailed knowledge of data warehousing concepts and reporting technologies like Business Objects would be an added bonus but not mandatory. Experience of contributing to the implementation of large- scale change projects in major organizations. Strong communication skills Full application development life cycle experience Is self-tasking; able to generate tasks without day-to-day supervision or guidance Preferred Skills: Financial services experience (preferably Investment Banking). Knowledge and experience of enterprise-wide financial systems would be advantageous.
