This is expressed in the management, administration, and programming of key computing infrastructure components for the support team the position is assigned to. Specialized knowledge of several key areas within the scope of that team’s responsibilities will be required as well as some broad knowledge of all areas that fall within that team’s purview. *PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Performs configuration, tuning, upgrading, and administration of infrastructure components. Evaluates systems performance and capacity and provides reports and recommendations to management. Supports development activities, projects, and efforts that require specialized infrastructure skills. Is a key contributor to disaster recovery planning and system recovery exercises providing infrastructure support. Customizes support tools, creates basic utilities, and establishes procedures required to provide daily support.
