Send Resumes at [email protected]* ** Senior SharePoint Engineer Detroit, MI 6 Months + Rate is 47.00 /hr C2C ** * * *Position Description:* * * The Senior SharePoint Engineer is an individual that has full-lifecycle software engineering experience on the Microsoft platform, including experience specifically involved with Microsoft SharePoint Products and Technologies (MOSS and/or WSS). Senior SharePoint engineers deliver the bulk of the installation, configuration and occasionally programming tasks within a SharePoint implementation project team. These individuals must be at an expert level with MOSS, WSS, and SQL Server. Design and documentation of the appropriate SharePoint solution based on information architecture, taxonomy analysis and the customer.s functional and non-functional requirements is also large job responsibility. A Senior SharePoint Engineer will design, package, implement and integrate new MOSS and WSS solutions, including the creation of processes that can be utilized for easily repeatable installations. Responsibilities would also include testing and validate the solutions before delivery, providing support and consultancy to site owners, provide level 2 and 3 support, diagnose and resolve infrastructure, application, configuration, code level technical support issues. * * *Skills & Experience Required:* SharePoint 2007 and Windows SharePoint Services e.g. WSS 3.0, development and/or architectural working experience *SharePoint 2007 and WSS 3.0 implementation and deployment experience including creation of * custom web parts *SQL Server 2008 *Internet Information Server 7.0 *Active Directory *Microsoft Office desktop application integration with SharePoint *Server farm design concepts *Windows networking principles *The ability to produce appropriate requirements and design documentation for Microsoft ECM/EDRM Projects *Experience working with customer.s internal business processes and performing detailed analysis of how to effectively deploy SharePoint throughout the enterprise environment *Excellent consulting skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and team members *Must be able to lead customer SharePoint engagements *Working knowledge of Windows Server 2008 *Working experience with SharePoint Content Deployment *Strong overall communication skills.
