Mainframe UNIX System Services
Experience in application development utilizing C++ & shell scripting USS
security zOS memory management experience Web services
Analyzes, develops, tests and implements database designs in support of
corporate and client area technology requirements. Performs data modeling,
logical and physical database design. Includes maintenance of database
dictionaries, monitoring of standards and procedures, access methods and
time, validation checks, organization and statistical methods. Responsible
for data loading, security, performance monitoring and tuning, capacity
planning, and backup and recovery. Executes database software installation,
database creations/configurations and loads.
Design, build and support multiple C++ & shell scripts on an IBM
z10/zOS platform in support of a third party vendor tool for a financial
real-time application.
Create or assist in building system monitoring and action guides for
the third party tool.
Identify & produce analytics (Metrics), trend data and performance
reporting for MIS and decision Data against the third party tool. Recommend
performance tuning and balancing changes for optimization of third party
tool.
Serve as the third party tool scripting Expert/consultant to all
departments.
Recommend & implement data models that can be supported by
scripting.
Communicate and Coordinate with Vendor Support Personnel and
internal support organizations engaged in development and technical support.
Participate in the Planning and Implementation for technical refresh
and operating system upgrades.

Minimum 5 years of work experience in system administration on a z10 zOS
Unix System Services platform Minimum 3 years of work as a developer
utilizing web services, C++ and shell scripting Experience in USS security
Experience in zOS memory management experience Excellent communication and
analytical skills
