Responsibilities include the specification, design, development, testing, documentation and implementation of server-side software applications utilizing C++, C, Java, and SQL. The software developer will be responsible for solving intriguing problems with our latest technology, and partner with other team members, customers, and vendors throughout the entire project lifecycle. *Qualifications * BS in Computer Science or related field. MS in Computer Science or related field is desired. Five or more years of experience developing multithreaded and distributed application software systems. Five or more years of experience developing software applications with C++, C, Java, and SQL in a Unix environment. Perl and shell scripting is a plus. Five or more years of experience utilizing formal development methodologies. Familiarity with technologies such as MPEG video compression, video/audio coding, ATSC, satellite communications, and TCP/IP networking is desired. Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
