Assignment Description:
Under the direction of the Project Manager and Chief Data Architect, serves
as the ETL developer using Data Stage. Design and program extract transform
and load functions within a DataStage, ESB SOA architecture and Oracle
platform. This position requires you to have deep knowledge and experience
with using DataStage in a large scale environment. Works with Data and
Solution Architecture teams, business analysts and vendor application
developers to define and program ETL solutions. The ETL developer
collaborates with business analysts, data modelers, data analysts, testing
team, solution architect to successfully implement and maintain data
transformation, including data loads in batch and realtime, interface
designs, and standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Program in Datastage
Program in SQL - Oracle
Develop ETL batch and realtime jobs
Developer interfaces between Datastage with SOA ESB realtime
Develop all ETL from staging to ODS and Master Data
Test and develop production jobs
Minimum Core Competencies:
1. Must be an expert with Data Stage
2. Must have good skills as ETL developer
3. 4-7 years of satisfactory full-time programmer analysis experience with
at least 4 years as a specialist in Data Stage and ETL development and
implementation.
4. A minimum of 4 years of full lifecycle ODS and DW experience in large
scale programs
Skills for this Assignment Required:
ETL developer
IBM Data Stage
Oracle
Knowing the tools will not be enough; must have excellent knowledge of SQL
Performance optimization
Experience:
4-7 years experience including at least 2 enterprise level data solutions.
Experience with IBM Datastage, SOA. Deep understanding of relational Oracle
DBMS and SQL.
A minimum of 4 years of full lifecycle ODS and DW experience in ETL data
integration efforts in large scale programs.
