Currently we are searching for a Business Analyst to fulfill an immediate vacancy. The selected individual will be providing oversight to the work done by different IT vendors involved in application development and maintenance in the marketing business area. Responsible for managing daily operations related to production support and maintenance of applications, act as a liaison between business and infrastructure group and communicate with business users as appropriate Provide oversight and lead troubleshooting as required to restore critical application downtime caused by various issues like infrastructure environment, software, network etc. Responsible for working with business users in the marketing and sales area to help them define their Information Systems needs and translate that into requirements that can be delivered by IT vendors Support application development by being part of a project team and following SDLC processes to create deliverables assigned to Business Analysts including application testing. We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in related field. • Experience with auto industry preferred or should have demonstrated ability to learn business processes • Experience with support and maintenance of applications in a multi vendor environment • Experience working with geographically distributed teams preferred • Technical experience with programming online screens, data interfaces or batch jobs preferred • Knowledge of system development process and experience with application development preferred One or more of these skills required: Web development Content Management Systems Oracle, PL/SQL, UNIX, Business Intelligence / Data warehousing or any major open systems product.
