Collaborating with both local and remote team members (management, development, test and user experience) to deliver a great product. Work with external teams to successfully integrate the client into the whole solution. Work with test and support teams to diagnose and fix defects. Writing automated unit and integration tests to verify your features.
Skill Requirements Software Engineering / Development Background Specifically: C++ (strong skills required) Network programming (strong skills required) TCP/UDP socket programming on Windows and or *nix . Client / Server desktop application development. C#/WPF (desired) Windows Application Development (desired) Object Oriented Programming (desired) Agile Development (desired) Test Driven Development (desired) Unit and Integration / System Testing experience a plus. Voice/Video over IP (VoIP) Telephony experience Strong knowledge and practical experience with: SIP (rfc3261), SIP offer-answer (rfc3264) SDP (rfc4566) Specifically around negotiating Real-time Audio and Video codecs. Experience with Real-time H.264-AVC and H.264-SVC Experience negotiating these codecs is strongly desired, however any encode/decode implementation experience is a plus. Strong IP Networking experience General Skills Works well in a team Keen to branch out and develop skills in other areas beyond current core.
