Title : Power Builder/web application developer. Location : MA. (Need Local) Duration : 3- 4 month contract.* *As long as the candidate can be in MA for a face to face and for work. * Seeking candidates for a senior PowerBuilder/web application developer Highlights of the work: · Documenting our requirements by meeting with departments and IT · Identifying what changes the department will need to make to their data management and/or recruitment processes · Assisting the department with their portion of the setup, data migration, testing, data cleansing, etc. · Working with legacy code, including ODBC connections, on a Client-server architecture in PowerBuilder · Working with legacy code within an ASP Classic environment · Creating a customized, user-friendly GUI for access to interfaces within an existing PowerBuilder application · Creating custom queries within SQL Server 2005 and Sybase · Assisting with go-live · Training our technical, and web teams on how to integrate the application into our environment and how to keep the new development running smoothly Candidate requirements: An ideal candidate would contain proficient skill sets in the following technical areas: · PowerBuilder 12.x · Sybase ASE Database 12.5.3 o Tables, Triggers, & Stored Procedures · ASP Classic · SQL Server 2005 And, generally: · Will be working very closely with our HR department and making sure they are on track with their portion of the work, so needs experience doing that · Comfortable and experienced at helping IT and HR with test plans and test execution · Needs to have some understanding of network and security issues, though will not be the lead on that portion of the work · Must have experience developing solutions that minimize the impact and burden on user data input and system administration during regular operation -- *Thanks and Best Regards,* *Amer Khan | Sr Technical Recruiter* *Email: [email protected] * *Gtalk : [email protected]* *Direct : 203 971 8471* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
