*I have following position open with my client, please let me know if you have suitable profiles for the below position.* Role:WebSphere performance Lead Lenght: 6 - 12 months State: NY Description: 6+ Years of experience in an infrastructure area administering J2EE application servers, preferably in a Performance Analysis role Proficient in o Jython scripting for WAS component automation o Windows scripting o Perl and Unix shell scripting Additional experience supporting J2EE and .Net applications including o Administration of J2EE application servers in general, and IBM Websphere in particular o Understanding of impact that security components (e.g., SSL, Reverse Proxies, and Firewalls) have on operational readiness. o J2EE application server monitoring using Tools such as TPV and ITCAM RTT Ability to tune and configure J2EE application servers Ability to tune and configure IIS and .Net servers Understanding of performance management applicable to J2EE applications servers Ability to summarize findings for review by non- technical stakeholders Understanding of J2EE application server configuration Understanding of J2EE applications and their interactions with infrastructure components including: o IBM MQ series messaging o Relational Databases (Oracle, Sybase and IBM DB2/UDB) o Authentication Servers (IBM TAM, Clear Trust, RSA SecurID) Available to work “off hours” as needed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to collaborate with other departments Production Environment Analysis and Support • Review production environment utilization and fault data • Assist in identification of root-cause issues • Support other Web Technology Area function in day-to-day tasks and emergency responses • Continuously improve ORT scripts and methodologies to reflect production environment usage • Perform various production support responsibilities during Disaster Recover and emergency situations. Testing Process management and Coordination • Design and Plan Operational Readiness tests • Assess application and environmental design to identify scenarios that require ORT testing • Coordinate execution of ORT tests with the required support teams • Report status and issues to test stakeholders as necessary • Manage assignment and resolution of risks and issues applicable to ORT tests • Identify critical testing milestones Test execution responsibilities • Suggest remediation actions for issues and risks encountered during the testing cycle • Develop scripts to automate data collection during test execution on Websphere application server, IIS and .Net applications • Execute test cycles for operational readiness including load, performance, durability, integration and robustness testing • Document operational readiness test results by writing technical reports and executive summary • Recommend changes to configuration parameters based on operational readiness test results • Support tools for use in performance management and analysis (e.g., ITCAM, WebTrends, Mazu) • Perform other duties as assigned or requested Please send matching resumes to [email protected] with name, contact number, current location, availability. -- Vinod (P): 609-301-5650 (E): [email protected] www.ctsit.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
