*OBIEE Developer* Livonia, MI Rate: Open 8 + months * Local candidate ideal, but not absolutely must!!** * Our Client requires an Oracle Business Intelligence Developer to support key business imperatives for 2011. Responsibilities and required qualification are as follows *Responsibilities* - Design templates, develop and test BI Publisher reports. - Define and design Facts and Dimensions, and build OBIEE dashboards and analytics - Define, design, develop and support extract-transform-load (ETL) scripts, mapping and processes. - Develop OBIEE dashboards as needed and implement OBIEE iBots, Answers and other functionality. - Understand business requirements and create technical documents (architecture, design etc); Create unit test cases and system integration test cases. *Qualification, Experience and Skills* - Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent. - Must have minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle BI and large data warehouse implementations. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing Oracle BI Publisher reports and dashboards. - Strong technical experience with SQL, Oracle Databases (10g and 11g R2), Oracle BI Publisher, Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) and metadata repository. - Good understanding of “Data Models” within Data Warehouses, Facts, Dimensions, ETL Processes and analytics. - Effective communication skills, ability to quickly understand business processes and systems, and design templates, reports and dashboards to meet business requirements. - Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams to deliver projects incrementally. - Experience with application development methodologies/processes and tools, ETL and data mapping with strong debugging and problem solving skills. - Creating technical support documentation and ability to clearly and concisely define the technical issues including functional and design specifications. - Support solution testing, test case design and quality assurance process. - Agile and flexible to adapt to new situations quickly and aid in problem solving.
