*Job Description* Contracted Position: QA Testing Analyst, Level I Job Summary The QA Testing Analyst is responsible for participating in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications with a focus on quality assurance and testing of code. This position is assigned to a project team to perform system and regression testing and provide accurate defect tracking. They share responsibility with other team members to ensure on-time product delivery, which requires a clear understanding of expectations and capabilities and the ability to act effectively as a team member. Responsibilities · Execute test plans in a timely and efficient manner for all areas of the product. · Assist with implementation of performance tests. · Document and track all bugs and resolution activities. Retest code to ensure bug fixes work. Skills and Knowledge · Knowledge of relevant technology and testing tools, · Previous software QA experience in an established QA Department. · Recent software testing experience including automated (e.g., WinRunner, LoadRunner, TestComplete) and manual testing, functional testing, regression testing. · Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
