SAP Logistics
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: RI
3-7 years SAP Logistics configuration and specifications development. Main
configuration areas include Delivery and Shipment Processing, Warehouse
Management, Outputs.
*Experience in the following areas strongly preferred *
- 3rd Party warehouse interfaces
- Delivery Outputs (VICS BOL, Packing List, Delivery Notes, Picking
List, Proformas)
- Label Output (Pallet/Carton handling unit packing information and
standards)
- EDI ASN related output files and integration
- Small package interfaces (Nexxio, DHL, etc)
- Carrier Freight Management interfaces and applications (CASS for
example)
- Customs Documentation and Global applications/requirements (Europe,
South America, Canada, Asia)
- WM Radio Frequency devices and SAP integration
- Log-Net
- RFID
- Transportation Management Systems
Bachelors degree preferred
*Critical Skills:*
- Understanding of fundamental and advanced concepts of SAP systems
development including core R/3 (ERP) with a primary focus on logistics
business processes and application requirements
- Ability to develop and evaluate alternative technical solutions to best
meet the needs of the business
- Ability to develop and execute task specific project plans with minimal
supervision
