Strong verbal and written communication can not be stressed enough!! Candidate should have experience testing across multiple platforms. Looking not for a business analyst, but more of a quasi technical and business candidate. There is more technical testing involved. This should NOT be a heads down tester - it needs to be someone who thinks outside of the norm. Candidate must work in Herndon, no exception. Initial work order for 6 months, but is likely to extend. Normal business hours. The manager DOES NOT want to see 10 page resumes or candidates that don't know what is on their resume because it was edited to fit this position. Interview your candidates face to face and screen them properly as to their SQL and testing experience and knowledge. Manager will conduct phone screens and follow up with in person interviews. *QA Testing Analyst II acts as a key participant in application analysis, test strategy development, test case creation, test script development, test execution, test summary documentation, defect tracking and reporting. The candidate may also be required to train end users. This is for a UAT Tester position. Candidate will need to possess a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in testing. Previous experience with secondary mortgage market is preferred. Knowledge of testing lifecycles is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and demonstrated presentation skills. Experience with Clear Quest, DOORS, Rational Requisite Pro, Clear Case, Quality Center, Quick Test Pro or any other automated testing tools software is preferred.
