Role: Sr. Data modeler Location: CT Duration: 4-7 months Rate: Open Requirements: - 7+ years of related systems analysis and data modeling experience. - Strong experience with dimensional modeling concepts is required. - Knowledge of modeling tools and how to apply them to model maintenance is required. - 5+ years PL/SQL experience, Oracle DBA, SQL Server Transact SQL or SQL Server DBA in DBA or database developer role. - Experience in metadata management standards, data profiling, data analysis and quality. - Experience with any of the following tools: Toad, SQL Server (Management Studio, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS). - Strong knowledge of a standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or development methodology - Excellent analytical ability, strong judgment and problem analysis techniques - Ability to work independently as sole data engineer on a project while enterprise standards - Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to present in front of a group of individuals.
