The available position involves various aspects of business analysis, development and support. Development may involve gathering business requirements, application architecture design, coding, and all forms of testing (unit, peer, integration, and Regression testing) of the application enhancements. Technical support may involve troubleshooting issues on the client server application and supporting databases. Actively participate in data mapping sessions with the Client’s Business team and vendor. Maintain data dictionaries for each portfolio migrating to the new application. Provide Client’s Business team with a list of data elements that require manual correction prior to migration. Work with Client’s Business team to develop Operational and Accounting migration balancing reports to ensure that all data is accounted for during the migration process. Assist in creation of a data migration schedule. Participate in unit testing, User Acceptance Testing and launch preparation testing. Assist in developing and executing a migration launch playbook detailing all steps to be performed during a launch weekend. *Skills Required: *** Strong SQL development experience. Especially as used in an extract transform and load (ETL) function. Strong Microsoft SQL Server database knowledge. Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server database utilities.
