* *1) TSM Administrator* Detroit, MI Long term contract Rate is 47/hr C2C TSM Administrator to support TSM infrastructure refresh project The TSM environment provides data backup and recovery for approximately 6000 Windows, UNIX and LINUX nodes. This includes file system, Oracle, SQL, and Exchange backups. The infrastructure consists of 25 AIX TSM instances across 2 locations. We are currently in the process of a full TSM refresh project for the Dearborn Data Centers, which includes the TSM servers and backend storage. Responsibilities include . Configure TSM 6.x on new Linux servers per Client’s standard configuration. . Transition / migrate backups from old TSM servers to new Linux TSM servers per Client's requirements . Coordinate with various support teams to point clients to the newly configured TSM servers. This requires updating TSM base node and special clients (CBMR, TDP for Oracle, SQLDB2, SAP and email Exchange) configuration files. . Verify successful migration of TSM base nodes and special clients. . Coordinate with various support teams to resolve transition/migration issues. . Keep track of migration activities and issues. . Provide status update on migration activities to the project team. . Develop scripts to support migration activities *Skills Required:*** . Must possess working knowledge of TSM server (version 5.5 or higher). Experience or training in TSM 6.x would be a benefit. . Must possess, and have demonstrated comprehensive TSM client troubleshooting skills on Unix, Windows platforms and special clients (TDP and CBMR) .
