Senior / Lead SAP WM Consultant Location: Plano, TX Duration: 6 Months . 6+ years SAP . 5+ years WM . Expert in Movement Type Configuration . Very strong in Lean Supply Chain . EWM highly preferred (needed to enhance to trigger required activity that will move inventory from quality status to unrestricted) . 2+ years experience in ECC 6.0 . 1+ years lead experience (preferred) . 2+ years working closely with users/stakeholders to perform requirements gathering, gap analysis, present project status, etc. . Will be working primarily in Plano office but must have ability to travel as needed (25%) I need a person that understand how to configure a movement type that allows for the post goods issue of inventory while it is still in quality hold, and can design a process flow that allows for the execution of a stock transfer directly from a production run into a truck so that the product incubates during the trip and is received into the destination while still in quality hold. This person will also need to design a transaction that allows the quality manager at the manufacturing facility to release the inventory from quality into unrestricted. This includes the knowledge to design the transaction to handle the move of the Handling Units from Q to unrestricted. However, the transaction also needs to work in reverse should a quality issue be uncovered after the fact. Finally, this person will be very favorable if he/she has knowledge of EWM, because the design will require the necessary enhancement to trigger the required activity that will move the inventory from quality status to unrestricted. Environment is SAP ECC 6.0, they are planning to do a fairly sizable enhancement/optimization of their SAP Supply Chain applications, mostly dealing with: Orders process streamlining, co-packing process, stock transfer process, DSD Load Planning improvements, BW reporting requirements, etc. Most of these items are already in place and working, they just need to be fine-tuned and/or scaled from one site to the rest of the nation.
