*Location:* Downtown, NYC *Duration:* 6-12 Months * 5+ years of experience with Java application development * Strong design & implementation skills pertaining to web applications, database design & rich media applications *Technical Skills Required which are given below:* * In-depth knowledge of Core Java, JSPs, Servlets. * 2+ years of experience with web application frameworks including Spring 2+ & Struts 2+. * 2+ years of experience with Hibernate & other Java ORM tools. * 2+ years of experience with JAX-WS & JAX-RS implementation. * Experience working with Oracle 9i & 10g (light PL/SQL development ability a plus). * Good understanding of JMS, JDBC, & JTA & their proper use in robust back-end applications & services. * Experience with ant, maven, cvs &/or svn, & issue tracking tools (JIRA a plus). * Expertise in the Drools/JBoss Rules platform highly desirable. * Experience with implementing SOA (Service Oriented Architecture). * Excellent skills working with XML schema & documents, validation, parsing, & marshalling.
